Red Thread’s Data Privacy Manager: email@example.com.
Red Thread collects and processes personal data from clients for the performance of contracts. For the recipients of our monthly newsletter, data processing is performed under the categories of consent and legitimate interest.
The relevant categories of personal data processed are A (personal identification information), B (financial matters) and O (profession and employment data), according to the WP29’s list of categories of personal data.
Red Thread uses Mailchimp to distribute the monthly newsletter via email to subscribers. Recipients of the newsletter therefore have their data transferred to Mailchimp, which is a U.S company. This data transfer is legalized by the EU-U.S Privacy Shield agreement.
Red Thread takes necessary provisions to protect your personal data.
Red Thread stores client employment, financial and personal identification data for a period of no more than 90 days after completion of contract.
If you would like to exercise your rights to data access, erasure, rectification or portability, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your personal details can be removed from the mailing list as per your request.
Concerned Data Subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority. For most of my clients this would be the Belgian DPA: https://www.privacycommission.be.
